<p>हजारों लोगों ने रथों को खींचा, जबकि लाखों श्रद्धालु गर्मी और उमस के बीच 'बड़ादंडा' पर रथ यात्रा देखने के लिए सड़क किनारे जमा हुए। </p><p>यात्रा रविवार शाम को शुरू हुई, लेकिन सूर्यास्त के कारण कुछ मीटर बाद ही रुक गई। सोमवार सुबह करीब 9.30 बजे 12वीं सदी के मंदिर से गुंडिचा मंदिर तक 2.5 किलोमीटर की यात्रा फिर से शुरू हुई और इसका समापन अपराह्न 2.35 बजे हुआ। तीनों भव्य रथ ग्रैंड रोड पर गुंडिचा मंदिर के बाहर रहेंगे। मंगलवार को एक औपचारिक शोभायात्रा के साथ देवताओं को मंदिर के अंदर ले जाया जाएगा। देवता एक सप्ताह तक इसी मंदिर में रहेंगे।</p>
