TWO of the five Household Cavalry horses which panicked and bolted through central London were said today to be in a serious condition.
Three soldiers were injured in yesterday's drama but were all expected to "recover fully and return to duty", a Ministry of Defence spokesman said.
One was discharged overnight while two others were still in hospital but in a stable condition. A member of the public also suffered light injuries.
The five horses were said to have been spooked by the noise of builders moving concrete as they were being exercised near Buckingham Palace, causing them to bolt and throw their riders.
