DEHRADUN:
Police said that the victim, Ashok Kumar Gang, was stabbed to death by an unidentified person(s) on Monday evening. The incident took place at around 7:45 pm at the victim's home where he lived alone in Alaknanda Enclave on the GMS Road.
He was found with injuries by his neighbours who rushed him to a nearby hospital. He, however, died during treatment.
Superintendent of police (city) Pramod Kumar said that multiple teams were engaged to solve the murder case of retired ONGC official.
