SUPREME COURT RELAXES SISODIA'S BAIL CONDITIONS IN EXCISE CASE

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Wednesday relaxed bail conditions laid down for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia which required him to report to the investigating officer twice a week in connection to the two excise policy cases lodged against him by the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation.

A bench of justices Bhushan R Gavai and KV Viswanathan passed the order by allowing an application moved by Sisodia seeking relaxation of the bail condition imposed by the top court in its order granting him bail on August 9. However, the court directed him to regularly attend the trial.
