To mark the centenary celebration of late Indian classical music legend Pandit CR Vyas, a two-day musical celebration is being held in the city.

To mark the centenary celebration of late Indian classical music legend Pandit CR Vyas, a two-day musical celebration is being held in the city. The first day of the CR Vyas Vandana will see a vocal recital by Dhananjay Joshi from Nanded (Maharashtra). He will be accompanied by Mahesh Kanole on the tabla and Niranjan Lele on the harmonium. The day will conclude with a sitar recital by Padma Bhushan Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee, who will be accompanied by Soumen Nandy on the tabla.
