'50 ACs, II TVs': BJP hits out at Kejriwal

The BJP on Friday claimed that former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has become the "biggest symbol of VVIP culture", citing official documents to claim that the 6, Flag Staff Road bungalow-a point of fiery contention between the BJP and the AAP has 50 air conditioners, toilet seats costing 12 crore, and a TV worth ₹29 lakh.

The AAP hit back, claiming the BJP is levelling false accusations against Kejriwal.

6, Flag Staff Road, though not the designated bungalow for the Delhi chief minister, is where AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal stayed during his tenure as CM. The house became mired in controversy after the BJP accused Kejriwal of spending ₹45 crore in renovating it.
