The department alleged that officials in two states (0disha and Andhra Pradesh) signed off on a higher charge for power in a power purchase agreement, in return for a bribe from the Adani Group, whose company was generating the power. It further alleged that officials in two more states (Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu) and one UT (Jammu & Kashmir) may have also done so.
