Adrift sailor and his dog 'survive on raw fish & rain

A SAILOR and his dog were rescued after THREE MONTHS adrift on the Pacific in their stricken vessel.

Tim Shaddock, 51, said he and pooch Bella survived on raw fish and rainwater.

A tuna trawler picked them up off Mexico after a helicopter accompanying it spotted their catamaran.

The pair had left La Paz in Mexico in April bound for French Polynesia but a few weeks into the journey a storm destroyed the electronics on the craft.

Mr Shaddock was last night said to be "stable and very well".

He said in a video: "I have been through a very difficult ordeal at sea.
