Airport nightmare

PASSENGERS are facing "needless disruption" after the number of night flights were slashed, air chiefs warned yesterday.

Airports operator DAA said it was "disappointed" by the enforcement order issued by Fingal County Council.

Flights to and from Dublin between 11pm to 7am are to be cut to 65 a night within six weeks.

The order comes after the council ruled the airport was in breach of planning conditions.
