A PHOTO has emerged of a car said to be laden with explosives on top of Ukraine’s Kakhovka dam before it collapsed.
The image was taken by a Ukrainian drone on May 28, eight days before the dam gave way. It could provide further evidence that Russia was behind the disaster.
It appears to show a white car with its roof cut open revealing large barrels inside, one of which looks like it has a landmine attached to its lid.
A cable runs from the barrel towards the side of the river held by Russian forces.
A Ukrainian special forces official said he believed the car was there to stop any Ukrainian advance on the dam and to amplify an explosion in the machine room.
