CHER has told how she rescued a bear from a zoo in war-torn Ukraine in a rented pickup truck.
The 77-year-old chart legend was determined to get the bear to a wildlife sanctuary and refused to be put off by the Russian invasion.
The Believe singer co-founded Free The Wild, which had already rescued a tiger, six lions and a panther from the zoo before Vladimir Putin's murderous forces crossed the border, but the bear was left behind.
