CHILD ABDUCTION FEARS AFTER BOGUS HOUSE CALL

THE HSE has urged the public to ask for identification from anyone calling to their home claiming to be collecting a child with a disability for an out of home support provision.

The warning comes after a man arrived at the home of a parent whose child uses the services in the Louth/Meath area at the end of last month.

He claimed he was from the HSE to collect the parent's child for an out of home, home support provision.
