A LORRY driver couldn't have foreseen he would broadcast a chant mocking the murder of Michaela McAreavey at an event, an industrial tribunal has heard.
Andrew McDade is claiming unfair dismissal by his former employer following the Facebook Live broadcast last May.
He live-streamed footage from Dundonald Orange Hall in Co Down which included the singing, which appears to mock the daughter of former Tyrone GAA manager Mickey Harte.
Michaela was murdered while on honeymoon in Mauritius in 2011.
A 30-second clip from the four-minute broadcast went viral on social media.
