CLIMATE activists using lentils to let the air out of tyres across Ireland say they won't be deterred by the "car-shaggers" sending them death threats.
The Tyre Extinguishers carried out their first action here last December when over a dozen sports utility vehicles were "disarmed" in Dublin 6.
In January, they hit Navan, where the tyres of 23 more SUVS were deflated and Donnybrook, Dublin in June when 30 cars were targeted.
Now they say they have at least five anonymous self-organised cells operating in Ireland and "expect to see many more" as their numbers are growing.
