THE heartbroken mother of Dylan Fitzpatrick who died in a moped crash with his dad in Turkey said she "hopes they are holding each other tight wherever they are".
Eoin Fitzpatrick, 36, and his 10-year old-son died when they collided with a bus in the resort of Alanya last Monday afternoon.
It is understood they were carrying out a final errand on holiday prior to their departure back to Ireland.
Their remains were brought back to Ireland last Thursday with the help of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
Chief mourners at the joint funeral at SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise, Co Laois, yesterday included Eoin's eldest son Cian, his parents Rita and Frank, his partner Suzie and her two children.
