I GOT THE LAST WORD

THIS is the moment brave Fiona Doyle said a final goodbye to her evil rapist dad Patrick O'Brien and told us: "I got the last word."

Notorious beast Patrick O'Brien, 84, who raped and abused her weekly during 10 years of hell, died on Wednesday in a Kildare care home.

O'Brien, who served just six years in prison for the horrific rape against Fiona, was cremated yesterday morning after a private service at Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Fiona, supported by her brother Richard, told the Mirror: "I was told it was 12.30pm at Newlands Cross Cremation but when I got here with my brother it was over.

"But the usher brought back out his coffin for us and I played a song called 'Warrior' by Demi Lovato which completely sums up exactly what I wanted to say."

Some of the lyrics of the song include: "This is a story that I have never told. I gotta get this off my chest to let it go. I need to take back the light inside you stole. You're a criminal. And you steal like you're a pro.

"All the pain and the truth I wear like a battle wound. So ashamed, so confused. I was broken and bruised. Now I'm a warrior. Now I've got thick skin. I am a warrior. I'm stronger than I've ever been."

Fiona added: "The words of the song says it all. It meant more than standing up and saying a few words.
