I wish none of you had got in that car

A HEARTBROKEN pal of one of the two young teenagers killed in an early morning Bank Holiday crash has told how she “wishes none of ye got into that car”.

The grieving community are preparing for the funerals of Kirsty Bohan and Lukas Joyce, both 14, who died after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a tree on the outskirts of Headford, Co Galway.

The horrific smash is believed to have instantly killed Lukas, who was the suspected front seat passenger.

Kirsty was rushed to hospital but was later sadly declared dead.

Two other teens, a 14-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, were also transferred to hospital where they are being treated for their injuries. As it emerged Kirsty and Lukas will be buried a day apart, a close pal of the schoolgirl said how she went into shock when she heard the tragic news.
