IRISH GOVERNMENT 'OPEN TO HOLDING AN OMAGH INQUIRY"

MICHEAL Martin has left the door open to a Government inquiry into the Omagh bombing on today's 25th anniversary of the terrorist attack.

He said: "When we have further clarity on the nature of the UK inquiry, I will then consider, along with the Minister for Justice and my Cabinet colleagues, the next steps in this jurisdiction.
