Keano attacker' is lucky Roy didn't hit him a slap

OLYMPIC boxing champ Michael Carruth said a man who allegedly headbutted Roy Keane is lucky the Ireland legend did not "hit him".

The former Manchester United hardman, 52, was reportedly assaulted in London last Sunday by a 42-year-old man, who has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

Carruth, 55, who won gold at the 1992 Games in Barcelona, told the Irish Mirror: "People who have been trained in boxing know how to look after themselves.

"They know where and how to hit. There's nothing worse than getting headbutted. You lose your head and retaliate.
