Lewis cancels rest of his tour after Glasto struggle

LEWIS Capaldi has quit touring for the rest of the year admitting he needs to "spend much more time" on his physical and mental health.

Appearing on a sun-drenched Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday evening, singer Lewis apologised for his voice as he struggled to complete his one-hour set.

The Scottish star has Tourette's syndrome, a neurological condition that can cause people to make involuntary sounds and movements called tics.

In one of the most moving moments of the sell-out weekend he was helped by the crowd to finish mega-hit Someone You Loved after his voice had all but gone and his tics got worse.
