North Korea spy satellite crash lands into the sea

NORTH Korea’s first spy satellite failed to launch yesterday as the rocket plunged into the sea.

The rogue state’s botched mission also sparked emergency evacuation alerts in South Korea and Japan.

Pyongyang vowed to conduct a second launch, suggesting leader Kim Jong Un is keen to expand his weapons arsenal and put pressure on the US and South Korea.

The Chollima-1 rocket crashed off the Korean Peninsula’s western coast after it lost thrust, the North’s of ficial Korean Central News Agency said.
