ONANA TURNS UP THE HEATON UNITED

ANDRE ONANA can transform the way Manchester United play, says his new team-mate and fellow goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

United signed Onana from Inter Milan for £47million to replace David De Gea, with boss Erik ten Hag recruiting him chiefly for his ability to play the ball out from the back.

Ten Hag has seen how Ederson and Alisson have transformed the way Manchester City and Liverpool play and has signed Onana (below) to do the same for United.

Onana, who played for Inter against Manchester City in the Champions League final in June, is expected to make his United debut against Real Madrid in Houston on Thursday, with Heaton excited by what the Cameroon international can bring to Ten Hag’s side.
