HARRY KANE is ready to switch targets from Alan Shearer's Premier League goalscoring record to the Ballon D'Or.

The England skipper accepts that by signing a four-year deal with Bayern Munich on Saturday at the age of 30, his chances of scoring the 47 Premier League goals needed to match the Newcastle legend's tally of 260 are now limited.

But by finding the net for a team in contention for domestic and European prizes, Kane (right, with boss Thomas Tuchel) feels even greater individual honours could follow including the European footballer of the year award.
