The Kilkenny camogie star was speaking as a new GPA report revealed that just over 90 percent of female inter-county players receive no expenses.

Walsh (below) says it is “the most frustrating thing of all time” that she is putting in more commitment and effort than male inter-county players and being treated “second best.”

The report also found that almost 80 percent of female county players don’t have regular access to a doctor and 48 percent paid to see a physio in 2022 with the average cost €220 (multiple appointments).
