Part-time firefighters get benefits cut 'over strike'

FIREFIGHTERS striking for better pay are claiming their part-time colleagues are having their social welfare benefits cut off "deliberately" by the State.

Retained firefighters are engaging in industrial action again this weekend after talks at the Labour Court broke down earlier this month.
