A PILOT is to stand trial in connection with the seizure of over €8million of cocaine which was allegedly flown into a private airfield last year.
Michal Luczak appeared at a sitting of Mullingar Circuit Criminal Court yesterday charged with possessing cocaine for sale and supply at Abbeyshrule Aerodrome on August 4, 2022.
Gardai from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out surveillance on a Cessna aircraft after it landed at the Co Longford airfield.
