Daire Maguire from Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, died alongside Co Cavan driver Gene McDonald, 35, on Sunday.
The Ford Escort they were in went out of control and crashed during a stage of the Sligo Stages Rally.
It was suspended on Sunday and a Garda investigation is under way following the tragic crash.
Mr Maguire, 46, a married father of two teens, has been described as "one of life's true gentlemen" by his employer.
Bathroom supplier CadCo NI, based in Lisnaskea, said Daire was a highly respected member of staff.
The company posted on social media: "It is with heartfelt sadness and deepest regret that we announce the death of our friend and colleague, Daire Maguire. Daire was one of life's true gentlemen, a highly respected member of staff by both customers and will be missed colleagues immensely by all."
