READY TO CONQUER

CONOR GORMLEY admits he's desperate to make more All-Ireland history with Tyrone - as a still sprightly 42-year-old.

The Red Hands great, a three-time Sam Maguire Cup winner in the 2000s, will go head-to-head with old rivals Kerry again this Saturday.

The counties will meet in the All-Ireland masters final for over-40s on Saturday at the St Brigid's club in Kiltoom.

A Tyrone side containing three-time All-Star Gormley, Ciaran Gourley and former Footballer of the Year Stephen O'Neill are strong favourites.

They've won the last two All-Irelands, beating Dublin in both finals, and are back in the decider following a series of big wins including a semi-final demolition of Dublin.

Defender Gormley captained Tyrone last year and described the potential three-in-a-row as a huge motivation.
