JONNY HOWSON'S display of dad-dancing captured Boro's delight as they headed for a first league win this season.

Skipper Howson's moves after his 66th-minute penalty winner at the Riverside were inspired by son Harry. Striker Josh Coburn was dragged to the deck by Taylor Harwood-Bellis and the recalled Howson did the rest.

The 35-year-old midfielder, whose longevity over 17 years as a senior pro was noted by boss Michael Carrick, explained: "My lad Harry plays Fortnite and he plays football as well. He does that celebration when he scores and for about two years now I've told him when I score next I'll do it.

"When you get to this stage, moments like this are worth taking away with you."
