STABBING HORROR OUTSIDE AIRPORT TERMINAL

A MAN was stabbed in the neck and stomach yesterday in what gardai suspect was a random attack.

Emergency services were alerted to the shocking incident at the front entrance of Dublin Airport's Terminal 1 at around 11.30am.

It is also understood the victim, who is in his 50s, and the suspected attacker are not known to each another - and officers now suspect the attack may have been random.

The man was brought Dublin's Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for what are described as serious but non life-threatening injuries.
