PUBLIC Expenditure Minister Paschal Donohoe outed himself as a Taylor Swift fan as he warned hotels about charging extortionate prices.

Concerned fans have expressed concerns about hotel prices skyrocketing following the announcement that the US superstar will play two nights in the Aviva Stadium in June 2024.

Just hours after the announcement, it was reported that one hotel had increased its prices from €359 to €999 for the nights of the concerts.

Asked at a press conference about the prices, Minister Donohoe exposed himself as a Swift fan.

"I saw Taylor Swift perform last time she was here in Ireland, he told reporters.
