The people who know what happened to Joe are rattled ... why else slash a banner?

THE cousin of a murdered GAA fan has claimed the killers are becoming “rattled” after a banner commemorating him was slashed with a knife for the second time.

Joe Deacy was killed outside a house near Swinford, Co Mayo, in the early hours of August 12, 2017.

His murder remains unsolved and gardai are continuing to follow many lines of inquiry.

The 21-year-old sports fanatic – who was from St Albans, Hertfordshire in the UK – was a massive Mayo GAA supporter and a regular visitor to the area.

His family erected a banner reading, “Justice For Joe” on a roadside near where his body was found.
