THE STARS ARE ALIGNING

ANDREW PORTER insists it is all about the stars on the jersey as he suggests Leinster's primary focus was always Champions Cup over URC glory.

Porter was among the frontliners at Aviva Stadium last Saturday but, with the European decider to follow seven days later, watched on in their civvies as the Blues lost their URC semi-final to Munster's late drop goal.

The Ireland prop felt for his colleagues after Jack Crowley clinched it for the Reds but insisted the group has quickly moved on with the task of finally beating Champions Cup final opponents La Rochelle.

"It was frustrating, more for the lads who were playing," said Porter. "It's disappointing but we've got something else to look forward to now so it's not the end of our season just yet.
