THEY'RE BACK FOR ONE THING

JACK O'CONNOR claims Dublin have thrown the kitchen sink at reclaiming the Sam Maguire Cup this year.

His opposite number Dessie Farrell succeeded in tempting Stephen Cluxton, Paul Mannion and Jack McCaffrey back into the fold this year, while adding game-changing 2011 All-Ireland winning manager Pat Gilroy to his backroom team. All four have been instrumental in the Dubs' march to Sunday's All-Ireland final their first appearance there since 2020. Sharpshooter Con O'Callaghan is also back after missing last year's semi-final loss to Kerry through injury.

For O'Connor, the totality of the effort adds up to one thing - an overriding desire to further enhance the legacy of the six-in-a-row generation.
