KYLE WALKER didn't want to take Manchester City's winning penalty in the UEFA Super Cup but Pep Guardiola put him down for the fifth spot kick.

City and Sevilla had both scored four out of four penalties in a high-quality shootout after a 1-1 draw in Athens.

Walker stepped up and squeezed his penalty under Sevilla keeper Bono (left) before Nemanja Gudelj hit the bar and City cemented their status as Champions of Europe.

However, Walker admitted after the game that he wouldn't usually put himself forward to take a penalty, only doing so because he was wearing the captain's armband for the game.
