DAVID Beckham will be seen as the house-proud husband doing the cleaning while wife Victoria larks around in a new documentary series.
Netflix bosses say the series, which focuses on the footballer’s glittering career, will “go beyond the shine of stardom” when it is aired later this year.
A teaser clip screened at a London media event highlighted a rarely seen side to their relationship, with the former England captain Becks revealing he has to “tidy up” around the house after his family all go to bed.
The 47-year-old, who has spoken about his battles with obsessive compulsive disorder in the past, has to leave the kitchen spotless – and even cleans up the candles.
Becks says: “It’s tiring going round every single candle cleaning it, clipping the wick. I clip the candle wicks. I clean the glass. That’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of the candle.
