HAD more than 20 lovers? It's a turn-off for many Irish daters.

A new study reveals how straight, older singles over the age of 35 - are a prim bunch.

They told a survey they're "uncomfortable or reserved" about getting serious with someone with so many notches on their bedpost.

More than 80% said they'd rethink a romance with a potential date who had more than 20 sexual partners.

And just 1% said they'd actually like to date someone with more than 20.
