CORK CITY'S coaching staff have slammed the fans who directed despicable abuse at Stephen Bradley and his son last week.
Two City supporters have already been identified and slapped with lifetime bans after chanting about Josh Bradley's illness.
The nine-year-old was diagnosed with leukaemia last year and Bradley has spoken before about the show of support his family has received from around the League of Ireland.
But matters took a sinister turn at Turner's Cross last Friday in the aftermath of Cork's 1-0 win over Shamrock Rovers.
Bradley was understandably irate and described the chants as "disgusting".
Cork reacted on the night, blasting those involved in a swift statement of condemnation. Gardai are now investigating the matter.
