MORE than 30 million people have signed up to Threads, launched by Mark Zuckerberg as a rival to Twitter.
Threads, created by Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, went live in the UK at midnight yesterday.
The platform's launch was brought forward by 15 hours and made available in 100 countries. It is not available in EU nations due to regulatory concerns.
