GEN Z believes a happy work environment is more important than a fat salary with two-thirds prioritising mental health perks over pension plans.

Access to a life coach, soy milk options, Fridays off, and bringing your dog to work all figure highly on the younger workforce's list of demands, a survey shows.

The modern employee is looking for a job where they can work from home at least twice a week (25%), and get a shower after cycling in (13%).

More than one in six (15%) want access to a life coach or psychotherapist, with the same number wanting Friday afternoons off, while nine percent want to bring their pooch to the office.

One in four (26%) want a gym membership over a company car - while one in five (20%) deem a relaxed dress code a must.
