MAESTRO MITRO

ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC made a stunning return to Craven Cottage with a brilliant brace – before Fulham were denied a London derby triumph by Joel Ward.

The super Serb featured in a Cottagers home game for the first time in over two months and did what he does best.

Mitro fired home a penalty and a header after Odsonne Edouard had given Palace the lead, only for visiting captain Ward to rescue a point for the visitors.

Mitrovic had been banned for eight games for pushing ref Chris Kavanagh in March. But his two goals made it 15 for the season, following his effort last week at Southampton, and he is keen to make up for lost time.
