STEPHEN KENNY was trying to stop a full Paris Saint-Germain team on his last visit to Parc Des Princes.

When he returns on Thursday, he will only face a maximum of three PSG players in the France squad.

The difficulty is that one of them just happens to be the best player in the world - Kylian Mbappe.

Kenny was manager of Derry City in 2006 when the Candystripes landed PSG in the first round proper of the UEFA Cup.

The Parisian giants were not the financial behemoth of today and were held scoreless at the Brandywell before winning 2-0 on their own patch.

First-half goals from Edouard Cisse and Pedro Pauleta saw to that as PSG won through to the group stages.
