LOUIS Walsh reckons ageing punk rocker John Lydon could pull in the young vote at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

The 62-year-old, whose Sex Pistols stage name was Johnny Rotten, is bidding to represent Ireland with his band Public Image Limited.

And pop impresario Louis, 70, said the former Sex Pistols frontman could be just what we need to get our Eurovision mojo back.

Six acts, including PIL and Wild Youth, will battle it out next month to represent Ireland in Liverpool in May at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest.
