THERE have been at least 11 stabbings in Greater Manchester in just 17 days.
The M.E.N. has reported on 11 incidents between January 7 and 24.
The spate has led Greater Manchester Police to issue a stark warning about the use of weapons, with Chief Superintendent Mark Dexter saying: "We will catch you."
In the latest incidents, a 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed with a 'sharp object' in a school playground and man was knife in the neck outside a bank at Salford Precinct.
The first incident happened when police were called to Cramond Walk, Halliwell, in Bolton, at around 4am on January 7. Police said three men sustained injuries.
Rylan Cullen, 21, of Falcon Drive, Little Hulton, Salford, was charged with three counts of assault and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and is due to appear in court on February 9.
