AMIR Khan has put his wedding venue up for sale - just months after it hosted its first nuptials.
The former boxing ace announced he has put the Bolton venue on the market for a whopping £12.5m.
Plans were first submitted for the venue, on Washington Street in Deane, in 2013. Initial construction on the site was completed in 2015 but it has since been hit by delays and even damaged by a fire. Total construction is said to have costed as much as £16m.
Named The Balmayna - which translates as 'enamelled' in Arabic it features a waterfall, illuminated trees, and a river weaving its way through the floor.
The 44,700sqft banqueting hall had its grand opening earlier this year and hosted its first wedding in May. Mr Khan said at that time that the 'booking sheet was full' for future events.
