Greater Manchester Police said last night the search for personal trainer Mr Daniels had come to a close after the tragic discovery.
The huge search operation at Dovestone Reservoir was first launched on Sunday afternoon after a man and woman fell into the water at the Oldham beauty spot.
The Manchester Evening News understands they had been paddleboarding on the reservoir.
