A JEALOUS brother who repeatedly struck his own sister in a violent attack has been jailed.
Adil Ali, 27, was at home with his family when an argument developed between himself and his sibling.
Their mother had been speaking to an auntie about her children and of how proud she was of her daughter for getting a law degree and her career, Manchester Crown Court heard.
Ali, from Ardwick, Adil began making antagAli onistic comments about his sister before she said if he continued as he was he would 'end up in prison or in a ditch'.
His mum sought to diffuse the argument by telling her daughter to go upstairs. However, Ali followed her and told her she was 'no better than anyone else'.
