Clint has been at the station for seven years and presents XS's drive-time show from 3pm to 6pm on weekdays.
But yesterday Inspiral Carpets star Clint stunned his Boon Army of loyal listeners by announcing it's time to leave the airwaves.
In a surprise move, he said he needed to make an announcement just after the start of his Monday afternoon show.
He went on to confirm he is leaving radio after 28 years in broadcasting and the past seven at XS. He said it was '100 percent his decision' to leave - and that his last show for the station will be on the Friday before Christmas, December 22.
Clint said: "I've decided after many years of being a broadcaster, working as a radio presenter the last seven years for XS, I've decided to step away from the radio for a little bit.
