Ryan Sinclare, his wife Robyn, her mum Hayley Judson and the couples’ five children Charlie, Mia, Maisy, Albie and Penelope had spent a week on the Spanish island when their nightmare began.
The family were due to fly back to Manchester Airport yesterday but knew a major storm was heading for the holiday hotspot.
Despite this, no changes were made to their Jet2 flight and the family set off to Palma de Mallorca Airport as normal.
When they arrived at around 7pm, they say the airport was in total disarray with hundreds of passengers waiting for travel updates.
Ryan says it took more than an hour and a half to check in and get through passport control and security. During this time, the dad claims someone stole his daughter’s bag containing her iPad.
But things only got worse when the family realised their flight was not displayed on any electronic board.
