THE owner of a popular south Manchester deli and cafe says he is at the end of his tether after vandals again forced their way into and ‘trashed’ their outdoor area.
Staff at The North Star delicatessen on Wilbraham Road in leafy Chorlton arrived at the premises on Wednesday morning to find entry had been forced to their secure, enclosed outdoor area. The venue says their CCTV footage shows a man and a woman having entered.
Afterwards, it had been ransacked with speakers, light fittings, furniture, and cushions all being tampered with or damaged. They did not enter the main building and nothing was stolen.
